Whilst the subject of mental health is a difficult one to approach, Elswhere are devoted to this issue. They provide a positive message about helping each other, which is conveyed in their material.
Drawing from personal experiences and tragic losses, their songs portray painful emotions accompanied with a hopeful attitude. Frontman Ethan uses the bands Facebook page in efforts to support fans who may be struggling with mental illnesses “If you are in need of advice, guidance, or you have negative thoughts in your head that overpower your everyday life, call 116 123 - or even email us at elswhereofficial(at)gmail.com where I will personally reply to try my best to
help.”
Musically the band has recently signed to Marshall Records and given out a snippet of the material they are currently working on.
It impressed me with it's slowness and the fat sound it features. So far it comes around riffy and powerful. It breathes a lot of atmosphere in it's core. It's hard to say how the track may go on. It could easily explode at some point or maybe move on further in this calm but constant moving sound and change into something else.
The band has raised the attention of Marshall Records at a Battle of the Bands in Milton Keynes. They recently entered the studio with award-winning producer Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine) and will unleash new music in the coming weeks.

Rock am Ring 2014 stream will broadcast many shows online
Wow, this is going to be a massive weekend! Just found out that this year happily once more a live stream featuring a lot of the bands playing at Rock am Ring 2014 has been set up for all those who cannot be there.
You can find the stream as well as all updated info on bands and broadcasting times at this location.
Update 2014/06/05
If you're having problems with the stream like I had this evening (but happily found this alternative plus legal site) just go over to this place, hope it works like it did for me. Maiden was great, enjoyed the title-track from Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son so much. Added Metallica since they are set up for streaming on Sunday, hope it will stay this way. (all bands/times are subject to change as the owners of the stream wrote on their site)
As for now the timetable lists the following bands along with times (only internet livestream bands are listed, there is more stuff that is broadcasted through a german TV channel called Eins Plus that can be found at this point .)
Thursday 05.06.14
21h Iron Maiden
Friday 06.06.14
22:20h Kings of Leon
Saturday 07.06.14
19:10h Opeth
20:15h Heaven shall burn
22:55h Linkin Park
Sunday 08.06.14
20:05h Avenged Sevenfold
21:25h Alter Bridge or Milky Chance (tbc)
22:00h Metallica

Hear a new track from Linkin Park's upcoming album
Linkin Park like to experiment with new sounds and arrangements to give hard music a new direction. They've put the track of the their first single "Burn it down" online and you can check it out directly here:
Seems like the band more than ever trys to go new ways. Well, I like it although I'm more of the old traditional style in Heavy Metal Music. At least I like that they put in emotions and various structures that break up the old style to give more atmosphere the chance to breathe. Let' see what the album will be all about. The tracklist for "Living Things" is as follows:
1. LOST IN THE ECHO
2. IN MY REMAINS
3. BURN IT DOWN
4. LIES GREED MISERY
5. I'LL BE GONE
6. CASTLE OF GLASS
7. VICTIMIZED
8. ROADS UNTRAVELED
9. SKIN TO BONE
10. UNTIL IT BREAKS
11. TINFOIL
12. POWERLESS
