A Light Within stream new single from the upcoming EP

So the clocks are mercyless ticking down the last hours of 2014...
What shall be done left before a new year will begin?

Don't miss out the chance to do something special on day number 365:
hear the new single from A Light Within already today! It will be released at the end of January 2015 but you can already listen to a stream of the full track "Between Shores" on the pages of Ragnarok Reviews. Very haunting and epic atmosphere on this one. Made my last day of 2014 a very special one...

The next show of the band will be on
Friday, 9th. January 2015 21:00 (CST) at the recordBar in Kansas City
If you would like to sneak a bit more into the upcoming EP don't miss out my article about the vocal recordings sessions as well as more clips from the recording process I posted some time ago.

Update 2015/01/17: The new song is available for streaming and download on the bandcamp page from A Light Within on a pay-what-you-want basis. Since it's such a great track I include the stream here as well. For me this track comes with a very haunting and blistering atmosphere. The intro perfectly rounds out this song which offers it's full bandwith and content only to those who listen to it several times...

Song from the upcoming Testament album now online!

So I guess a lot of you out there will know the legendary thrash veterans from Testament. Thrash at it's best IMHO. The highly anticipated follow up to their 2008 release The Formation of Damnation will be released on July 27, 2012 (Europe) and July 31, 2012 (North America). So a lot of people are surely looking forward to hear something from the new record that features Gene Hoglan for the second time after the 1997's album Demonic on drums.

The bands record company finally has heard the call and uploaded the first track "True american hate" on soundcloud. I love it! It'y typical thrash at it's best with traditional brutal riffing, slightly melodic with a great refrain and a rhythm that let's you bang your head straight forward.

So if you have a facebook account please do me a favour and head over to the promotional site of the album that the record company has set up and give it a like. The more people like it, the more samples of the album will be revealed. So please help making this happen. :-)

Finally take a look at the band's website for all the latest info on the band, especially for toudates that hopefully soon will be confirmed.

Snippet from new Brainstorm Album

Brainstorm are another band, that should have more fans. They offer energy packed power-metal along with great melodies and a intense atmosphere especially in their live shows. Actually the band is about to release a new album that will come out on 30. September 2011. Wann hear something of the new album? Here you go:

BRAINSTORM - Below The Line (cut) by AFM Records

Update: The full song has now been uploaded legally to youtube, so I add it here as well. :-)

Another Update: New teaser has been put out, showing the photo-session the band did. At the end of the video it's underlayed with a nice new snippet from the new CD!
