Mila Masu gives you fresh energy for a re-start

I don't think we had many bands with german lyrics here at the Underdogs. But this Punk Pop band based at Munich, Germany has turned my head from the start.

Pop Punk with a message. The cover says it already with one look.

It's the wild mixture of fun based and lighter guitars along with the drive of the drums that opened my ears so quickly.

But what totally flashed me are the vocals of Mila Masu. Her voice acting as a start to the song and to finish the track are almost unforgetable. The positive vibe continues as the song unfolds with constant lyric shots combined with the unconstant riffs firing around. The climax comes in once "Kopf Aus" drives towards the refrain. You feel that the power starts to gather and finally breaks out. I can imagine many people to dance along to this in clubs like Mila Masu does.

You can also listen to the music on Spotify if you like to hear it in better quality.

Lyrically the song talks about starting new things and breaking with old habits. It want's to show you how colorfull life can be once you go that way. The inspiration should give you power to re-define yourselves.

"Kopf Aus" is the third single the band released after already having already put out "Willst Du" and "Illegal". Make sure to keep a eye on them. The band's homepage has everything you need compiled at one place.

Mist form a unique doom metal sound in anniversary video

Today a lot of videos and sounds are shared around the World Wide Web. But what I found in my inbox of slovenian all female doom metal band Mist really opened up my ears.

Mist are already around for ten years.

It's this in-depth sound that is composed of the direct sounding guitars, the constant pushing and permanent cymbal using drums in combination with the vocals that leave a mark, something that makes it stand out from all the others. The high vocals may sound a bit unusual but with every moment passing they fit in better.

I love the natural sounding production and the not-overloaded guitar sound. It's all constantly moving in a flow but at certain points leaves a moment to stop and take a breathe. The end is something even more special. The whole track changes it's pattern and also the visual presentation moves to a different point. Make sure to stay at the screen 'til the end.

»Altar Of You« is taken from the 2018 album »Free Me Of The Sun« (Soulseller Records). The album was recorded, produced and mixed by Benjamin Kic (Metalsteel) and mastered by Patrick W. Engel (Candlemass, Pentagram, Darkthrone, Exodus) at his Temple of Disharmony studio.

Drop Oblivion release wicked performance video

It's a difference for me if I listen to music alone or watch a video with it. Most of the time I feel more drawn towards the music every time I watch the music video that belongs to the track.

It's been this way with the brand new video of death 'n' thrashers Drop Oblivion. While the visuals set a dark and wicked theme the music holds a constant push.

What I love so much about this particular one is that the guitars move so slowly and constantly inside. The riffs remain creeping in more and more with the duration going on. Plus the small guitar effects towards the end give it a more ears up while watching. The cool thing is that in all the dark theme the video holds the ending makes me smile and it leaves a good feeling in me behind.

Make sure to pick a copy of the track on Bandcamp. Or pick the whole EP "Narcissistic Counselor", you won't regret. It's all well worth your full hard earned coins. Finally follow the project further on Facebook.
