Anfitrite offer EP for very fair price to backers

Some bands can deliver a broken sensible sound with their music. I've found out that the symphonic gothic metal band Anfitrite set's a breathtaking feeling when it comes to calming your mind down.

The beautiful artwork accompanies to the music of Anfitrite.

Recently they've released a teaser of the track "Helena de Troya" and it gave me a moment of well-feeling in all the rushing times we're living in. A fine moment of being balanced.

Besides this the project needs your support to finish their upcoming EP. This is due to the serious political, economic and social crisis that Venezuela is suffering at the moment, making it very difficult to complete the EP by their own means.

Starting with a small price of just 3 dollar the band offers a digital copy of the songs with artwork along with the booklet to be send directly to your E-Mail inbox. But of course you're invited to give a higher amount if you can spare more with them. The EP will also be available later as a limited edition CD and USB stick.

You can directly access the campaign page on Ko-Fi.

Make sure to see the band's homepage and Facebook site for additional information.

Charity album for Sophie Lancaster foundation to be released soon

Sadly even as of today alternative subcultures aren't respected by all the people in our society. There is still a lot of prejudice and intolerance circulating in the minds of people about the way they think that these people live, think and feel. Even more worse people openly showing that they belong to such a subculture are often not "only" attacked through words but also by corporal attacks.

One of these cases happened back in 2007 when Sophie Lancaster along with her boyfriend was attacked by a number of males in their mid-teens while walking through Stubbylee Park in Bacup, Rossendale, in Lancashire. Sophie died as a result of the attack.

Her mother founded the S.O.P.H.I.E Lancaster Foundation to raise awareness of the problem. The exact aims of the foundation are:

- To create a lasting legacy to Sophie.
- To provide educational group-works that will challenge the prejudice and
intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures.
 - To campaign to have the UK Hate Crime legislation extended to include people
from alternative subcultures or Lifestyle and Dress.

Coffee Jingle Records have announced that they are releasing a Charity album in aid of The S.O.P.H.I.E Lancaster Foundation, which is being released Friday May 27th, but available to Pre-Order now as a digital copy and a CD and Artwork, with all proceeds going to the charity. This album is a mixture of alternative music. The album is aimed to create awareness and funds to help support the charity to achieve their aims.
