Corners Of Sanctuary offer rough & dirty new material on Gatefold LP

The new material the Philadelphia based traditional metallers have put out this year feels like being more on point. The sounds are heavier, hard-hitting and they feel like a layer of darkness has been added to the overall sound structures.

The year-long release reign finishes with a chance for a vinyl album.

Anyway the songs didn't flew in as one release but have been distributed as two EPs called Blood and Steel Volume One and Two. Now the time has come to finish the move with a decent album "Blood and Steel: Fight Till the End".

This installment combines Volumes One and Two plus additional tracks completing the year long journey. The fine thing is that besides the digital release and a CD this particular one has the chance to come as a vinyl LP into your hands.

Currently 100 units are on offer as a 150g Black gatefold vinyl through a pre-order page of RFL Records.

This format feels different and I think its suits very well to the sound Corners Of Sanctuary are working on so it would add a rougher and more dirty tone to your listening enjoyment.

The newest video “Into the Night (I Still Remember)” reflects to what I've written above. Besides the sound it's also the video that kicks me so heavy into their music.

Finally you can also see them live in 2022 if that's the best experience for you.

Tour of The Month: The Three Tremors featuring Benedictum

Some tours completly surprise me. This particular one already starts this very wednesday and I've not been aware of before today.

Not only will it feature The Three Tremors, a band that is comprised of Ripper Owens, Harry Conklin and Sean Peck Hammer but also have various top notch opening acts.

The tourposter for the Three Tremors shows partly feat. Bendedictum

One of them are called Benedictum, a american heavy metal band featuring vocalist Veronica Freeman "The V". Looking up their music revealed to me that they are a killer band that won my heart in a rush. But there are more good news coming directly from the band. Just read on:

(Vocalist Veronica Freeman "The V") - Benedictum are getting ready to embark on a European tour. This time out new members Ed Mischke (guitar), Eddie Jucius (bass) and Mark Zapata (drums) will be joining me as we support The Three Tremors during a leg of their tour. The future will hold some new music from Benedictum as guitar player and co-founder Pete Wells will be joined by Ed Mischke for a twin guitar attack. Something The V has said she has wanted for Benedictum for a while.

(Guitarist Ed Mischke) - Eddie Jucius, Mark Zapata and myself (core members of New York power metal band SPIRITUAL SICKNESS) are super psyched to be a part of the new Benedictum and to bring this lineup to Europe with our good friends The Three Tremors. I’m personally looking forward to writing new music with founding guitarist Pete Wells and the boys and playing in front of as many people as we can. I think die hard Benedictum fans and new fans alike will be pleased by what’s heading their way

Next To None announche August 2017 US dates

Next To None are a cool new band that has come up to my screen. They've put out their second album "Phases" these days and I'm discovering their sound step by step. I think they have something with them that could develop heavy music further.

It's not so much if they are prog metal or anything else but in common I feel that the way the band takes it's steps could be something of giving way for a bigger understanding of music in general breaking the chains of limitations of music. Don't waste your time with limitations. If it's music you like and enjoy it's music you like and enjoy. This seems to be the message to me they send out through their sounds. Check it out for yourselves with the song "Pause":

Readers living in the US can see Next To None this month live touring with label mates Doll Skin.
